Today, we successfully launched our very first virtual event under the 'Events for a Cause' category. Our facilitator Executive Coach Kshitij Sharma, brilliantly engaged 13 participants through anecdotes, introspection, story telling and more, all throughout guiding them to build their own 'Executive Presence'. All participants rated the session either Highly Effective or Effective. Thank you Kshitij! I, on behalf of the entire MAD2 team and the beneficiaries, wholeheartedly thank you for your generous contribution of time and effort to support our cause. The drive today was a great success! We are deeply grateful to everyone at the Gurudwara Saheb, Sitafalmandi for their on ground support, hospitality and warmth to the entire hospital staff, members of Making A Difference and those getting vaccinated. It was a greatly organized and well planned drive and supported with humility and warmth. By around 3:30 pm we had successfully vaccinated 280 people. As per the schedule, the drive was meant to last till 4pm and the doctors and nurses started to begin their wrap as scheduled. We could have achieved our target, just when incessant rain hit the area and all those who were coming for the vaccination, got stuck. We requested the hospital staff to accommodate till 4:30 pm which they kindly obliged. To ensure the hard earned contributions of our donors are utilized to the optimum and no vaccine purchases are wasted, one of our team members stepped out on the road, in the rain and started to ask everyone on the road and in vehicles, if they needed a free vaccine. Soon all other volunteers from the Gurudwara too joined in. And by 5 pm, we achieved 310 vaccinations to the lesser privileged ones. We at Making A Difference are committed to every drive, every initiative we take up and want to do our best to see it through success. Your trust in us, your hard earned money is our support system and our endeavor is to always do our best. In case you did not know, all the posters, standees, travel cost etc. that we incur during these events fall under the admin expenses of our accounts and are contributed by the board members. Not a single rupee of the donations is used for these. MAD is a 100% charity organization and we aim to remain so always.

We have 300+ registrations already from those struggling to either pay or scared to get to Govt centers for these vaccines. While most of us working in corporates are privileged to get our vaccinations either directly from their organizations or will get it reimbursed. Yet there are many many out there who are in the working class or in worse conditions. They will neither get their vaccination costs reimbursed nor dedicated drives keeping their safety and that of their families in mind. They are on their own. Making A Difference in association with WeConnect has pledged to support the vaccination of these underprivileged ones. In last one week, through multiple drives, we completed supporting the first dose vaccination of 150 underprivileged. As we plan our next drive, later this month, WE NEED YOU! While organizing vaccination drives for the underprivileged, I hear a lot of anxiety and fear around taking the vaccine. Here is how YOU can help:
1. Please educate them, spread awareness.
2. Guide them how to build their immunity and how to take care after the vaccine.
3. Help them register on Cowin and book a slot. Making A Difference - Charity Organization has been organizing sponsored vaccine drives for a week now and covered more than 120 sponsored underprivileged ones. Reach us to book slots for your helpers and those you know may struggle to pay for it. 4. And yes, if you feel we are doing a good job, please sponsor a vaccine for the underprivileged.

Vaccination today will save not just one but many lives. We are happy to have sponsored the first dose vaccination for 100 underprivileged. We are grateful to the support of our sponsors, volunteers and team members for making this milestone possible. Making A Difference enabled not just the cost but the end to end guidance on their registrations on cowin app (for those who couldn't). We also called each one of them individually to ensure they knew when and where to reach and how to go about it. Every bit of the 16 hours for last few days by our entire team was worth every bit. We require your support and contributions to cover the sponsorships for these and the upcoming 2nd dose vaccinations. As we continue our endeavor to vaccinate at least 100 underprivileged, we completed 14 sponsored vaccinations today for the underprivileged along with another 17 paid vaccinations for others. Despite it being a long and very tiring day for our small team to put together the show online and onground, we unanimously agree on the contentment we achieve doing this. Gearing up for nearly 200 tomorrow. We welcome you to share this contentment with us.
