We are deeply grateful to everyone at the Gurudwara Saheb, Sitafalmandi for their on ground support, hospitality and warmth to the entire hospital staff, members of Making A Difference and those getting vaccinated. It was a greatly organized and well planned drive and supported with humility and warmth.
By around 3:30 pm we had successfully vaccinated 280 people. As per the schedule, the drive was meant to last till 4pm and the doctors and nurses started to begin their wrap as scheduled.
We could have achieved our target, just when incessant rain hit the area and all those who were coming for the vaccination, got stuck.
We requested the hospital staff to accommodate till 4:30 pm which they kindly obliged.
To ensure the hard earned contributions of our donors are utilized to the optimum and no vaccine purchases are wasted, one of our team members stepped out on the road, in the rain and started to ask everyone on the road and in vehicles, if they needed a free vaccine. Soon all other volunteers from the Gurudwara too joined in. And by 5 pm, we achieved 310 vaccinations to the lesser privileged ones.
We at Making A Difference are committed to every drive, every initiative we take up and want to do our best to see it through success.
Your trust in us, your hard earned money is our support system and our endeavor is to always do our best.
In case you did not know, all the posters, standees, travel cost etc. that we incur during these events fall under the admin expenses of our accounts and are
contributed by the board members. Not a single rupee of the donations is used for these. MAD is a 100% charity organization and we aim to remain so always.
