Food distribution during
COVID–19
Making a difference (MAD) joined hands with the SAFA foundation for the noble cause of providing help to daily wagers, homeless, and needy people during the COVID-19 pandemic. SAFA was working on the ground with the government to ensure the supplies reached the poor. So we raised INR 175000 for this cause and extended our support to SAFA. We distributed 5000 meals per day for 30 days. Meal boxes were distributed at the temporary shelters created by the government of Telangana.

COVID-19
We contributed towards 3000 masks costing INR 45000/-. These masks were distributed to sanitary workers, street vendors, vegetables, fruit, grocery sellers, watchmen, and security guards. MAD also provided a fixed number of masks to the police team in Hyderabad. Our direct on-ground volunteers also participated in distributing these in their localities while educating them on how to use them. These were washable masks made of cloth, which our team got stitched.

A complete family affected by Covid 19, after getting initial treatment at Lotus Cure Hospital, Hyderabad underwent home treatment. Their treatment costed them more than INR 4,00,000/- .
